LRG is a company designed to overthrow the masses by using our influence. Our slogan is simple, "underground inventive, overground effective." At L-R-G we want to focus on the ones that are trying to pay their rent with their passions. Think of us as a support group for the independent culture. We're trying to put the spotlight where we think it really belongs, because it is much more than clothing and concepts, it is a way of living. L-R-G is innovative essence for the above average person.

I found a L-R-G pull-over "hoody" of mine the other day.
I thought it was stolen,
I left it in my broken-down car.
I spent two-thousand dollars on LRG Clothing
and then my car broke down.
I started skateboarding to work.
Eight miles a day.
Four miles each way
Two miles uphill, two miles down.
Fourty miles a week.
For fifty dollars a day.
But I was dressed nice...
I had some time to reflect on waste in my life.
I had settled for a job in retail;
I had other choices.
I had spent alot of time on the computer;
I had done alot of graphic and web design.
I didn't persuade people I was capable of more.

I've expressed my interest in LR Geans.
Even though I like the high priced designer clothes of Lifted Research Group
I don't have expendable income to invest in L-R-G.
Until I'm situated where I want to be;
I wont buy from L-R-G.
Not buying from L-R-G hasn't been too hard.
I examine new LRG Clothing before setting it down and leaving;
Sales associates gawk or eye me like prey.
They don't feel bad taking the money I earn;
Even if it even might be immoral or wasteful.
I'm wearing pants;
and have 6 other for each day of the week.
I do laundry once a week.
I don't need any more.
My denim is no longer crisp.
They've lost the allure or new pants.
Still I continue to wash and iron them.
And I've never owned a better pair of jeans.
Maybe cause my mom bought my clothes until I was twenty.
I'm glad that I'm not so compulsive.
Or once my life was devoid of the luxury of new clothes,
I might have gone to appease my satisfy this want.
Unemployment has helped restrain me from decadence.
